This year Japan Matsuri will be held in celebration of 125 years of the Japan Society – an organization which strives to promote friendship and understanding between the UK and Japan.

What is it?

Japan Matsuri is a festival held once a year in Trafalgar Square; it gives the local Japanese community (consisting of Japanese expats, students of the Japanese language, employees in Japanese companies and anybody else interested in Japanese culture) the chance to share aspects of Japanese culture with their family and friends.
