This January embark on a journey of discovery of new tastes and products with the Ehime Food Fair at Japan Centre Piccadilly from 8-29 January.
At Japan Centre, we’re passionate about bringing rare and exceptional Japanese regional fare to the UK through our regualr food fairs. This time around, we are bringing the best of rural Ehime, the westernmost prefecture on the island of Shikoku, one of Japan’s four main islands.
Come in store and pick up exclusive products; from special stock to make perfect soups; sauces for eel and grilled meats; unique noodles from flour made in Ehime; pancake mix for delicious desserts made with special naked barley grown in Ehime and ponzu, made from yuzu and bitter oranges grown in Ehime perfect for nabe hot pots, dressings and as a dipping sauce for BBQ meats.
Every day from 8 – 29 January at 2pm there will be free tasting, so come on down to Japan Centre Piccadilly and taste unique and exclusive food products from Ehime prefecture.
You could try some delicious osake made from oranges hand picked in Ehime, umami stock or traditional sauces that will make any dish take on a Japanese flavour.
Follow us on twitter for the latest updates on the tastings and products.
