It seems Londoners can’t get enough of SHORYU RAMEN, so much so that we’re opening our second site SHORYU SOHO this year! We know you can’t wait that long though, so in the meantime while we hammer and nail things in readiness, we’re opening a temporary SHORYU POP-UP restaurant next door to the new site on Thursday 11th April with 50% OFF ramen for the first 3 days! (Moved from original opening date Monday 8th April).
Japan Centre in conjunction with Third Windows Films are running a competition giving you the chance to win a set of 2 fantastic DVDs.
Up for grabs we have ‘The Foreign Duck, The Native Duck & God in a Coin Locker’, directed by Yoshihiro Nakamura (Fish Story) and available on DVD from January 14th, as well as ‘The Woodsman & the Rain’ directed by Shuichi Okita, the winner of the Special Jury Prize at the Tokyo Film Festival and available on DVD from January 28th.
Both are really excellent Japanese films with great casts and high international acclaim. We have three copies of both films to give away to three competition winners. Check the details below to learn a bit more about the movies and how to enter.

Hurrah!
After one too many pigs-in-blankets, a near-empty Quality Street tin down (apart from the orange creams, we’re not mad) and Baileys running through our veins it’s time to take off the gluttony glasses and kick start 2013 with a healthy-eating plan you can easily stick to and tastes amazing.
