I want to show you some drawings of Japanese manga. Unfortunately, they are too good to be the work of my own hand, but rather they are the top pick from a selection of students from Evelyn Grace Academy, a school in Brixton, South London.
Read on for loads more drawings!
In order to help the students learn about different cultures and how to respect them, their librarian created a great competition to get everyone involved in learning something about a new country. With all the students already fans of manga, Japan was the natural first choice of a country to study and a manga drawing competition was born. The students with the best artwork won an opportunity to visit Hyper Japan, the upcoming Japanese culture and food exhibition at the Kensington Olympia this weekend! Let’s hope that they come to Japan Centre soon for some tasty Japanese food too!
I am seriously impressed with these drawings and if any of the artists read this article, well done, you did a great job guys! 🙂
