Help Our Friends Help Japan


Many of Japan Centre‘s friends are organising some great events to help the cause in Japan by collecting money for donations.
These music and dnace performance events will be a fun evening for a fantastic cause, so check them all out and see if you can show your support by attending.

Concert for Japan

This Wednesday (May 11th) at 7.30pm the distingushed leading vocal group, Cantores Missae, in association with the Japan Society and the GB Sasakawa Foundation are presenting a “CONCERT FOR JAPAN” in aid of the Japan Society Tohoku Earthquake Relief Fund to aid victims of this disaster.

Programme: choral and instrumental music by Victoria and JS Bach. Also taking part is the wellknown Japanese violinist, Yu Yasuraoka.

Venue: Nazareth house, 169-175 Hammersmith Road, London W6 8DB.

Please come along and help raise the target sum of £5,000 for this most worthy cause.

Sylvie Guillem at Sadler’s Wells

World famous dancer Sylvie Guillem has added an extra performance to her currently sold out show and all proceeds from the ticket sales (including the transaction fee) will go towards the Japanese Tsunami Appeal, managed by the British Red Cross.
