COMPETITION: Win a Japanese Pop Culture Snack Set!

There are loads of classic Japanese food items that you always see popping up in anime, manga and Japanese films. Some of these items such as Pocky and Ramune are so ingrained into Japanese pop culture that they are instantly recognisable by everyone. Oh, and they all taste pretty good too! :)

At Japan Centre, we created a special Japanese foot set containing some of our most popular and famous Japanese snacks. This week, we have one of these sets to give away to a lucky winner. Read on for the full details!

What Can I Win?

The prize for this competition is our awesome new Japanese Pop Culture Snack Set. It contains all our favourite Japanese snacks including Pocky, Ramune, Ramen, Wasabi Peas & more! Check the item online for a full list of everything that is included.

How Can I Enter?

It’s easy to enter this competition. Simply head over to our Japan Centre Facebook page, Twitter feed or even scroll to the bottom of this blog post and leave a comment or tweet telling us which item from the Japanese Pop Culture Snack Set is your favourite! We will choose a random winner at the end of the week and send your items early next week, just in time for delivery before Christmas!

A Few Conditions

• As much as we love all our customers from outside the UK, we can only send the winner the Japanese Pop Culture Snack Set to a UK address.
• This competition ends at 6pm on Friday 16th December 2011, so make sure to leave a comment before then.

Even if you don’t win this competition, Japan Centre still has you covered. This Japanese Pop Culture Snack Set is available to buy online too. Just make sure to order by Monday 19th December if you want it before Christmas!

Disclaimer: Ok, ok, I know Homer isn’t a Japanese animated character, but I thought it was probably a bit more suitable than a picture of me drooling over these tasty snacks! :p

Who can resist crunching on some koala bears?! In summer I like to keep them in the freezer and when I’m in need of something sweet and cool, they’re the perfect snack.

The Lotte Koala strawberry flavoured biscuits! Not only is the creamy strawberry flavour and texture in the biscuits lovely, but the cute koala pictures on each biscuit make each biscuit special and super cute.

Definetly miso ramen!!! I first tasted ramen in Japan, so delicious. Later on when I visited China, I learned that ramen is originally Chinese food, but none of the ones I tried over there would beat Japanese ramen. It is its special sauce that is cooked for hours which gives its deliciousness!

The Strawberry Koala Biscuits have two wonderful flavours, the Instant Ramen is to die for and who can resist a Pocky (or two; or three)? However, my favourite has got to be the Grape Soft Gum – Wonderful!!!
